1. About these terms

Peak Time Garage ("PTG", "we", "us" or "our") is an independent digital music and sample-pack label. By using this website, placing an order or creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the relevant service.

You must be legally able to enter into a contract. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must approve your purchase and use of the product.

2. Digital products and orders

PTG sells downloadable sample packs and related digital products. Product descriptions, compatibility details and pack contents are shown on the relevant product page. Please check them before buying.

Prices are displayed and charged in pounds sterling (GBP) unless we clearly state otherwise. Your bank or payment provider may apply currency-conversion or other fees. An order is accepted when we confirm it and make the digital product available. We may cancel and refund an order affected by a genuine pricing, availability or fraud error.

3. Sample licence

Unless a product page states different licence terms, purchasing or legitimately obtaining a PTG pack gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide licence to use and modify its sounds in your own original music, performances, audiovisual works and commercial releases.

You must not:

• sell, share, upload or redistribute the source files or substantially unaltered sounds;
• package the sounds into another sample pack, sound library, preset bank or competing product;
• make the files available through file-sharing, cloud folders, torrents or extraction tools;
• claim exclusive ownership of an unaltered PTG sample or use Content ID in a way that blocks other licensed users; or
• use the files to train, fine-tune or build an artificial-intelligence model or dataset without our written permission.

The licence is granted to the customer who placed the order. Buying a product does not transfer ownership of the pack, artwork, brand or source recordings.

4. Delivery and download access

Paid and free orders are delivered electronically. The secure order page does not consume a download. Each purchased pack is currently limited to two successful download claims, normally available for 30 days. A generated Cloudflare R2 download URL expires after five minutes for security.

Keep your order email and access link secure. If a genuine technical problem prevents delivery, contact us with the order reference so we can investigate and, where appropriate, restore access.

5. Payments, discounts and promoter codes

Paid checkout is processed by Stripe. PTG does not receive or store your full card number. Free orders do not create a payment charge but still create an order and require a valid email for delivery.

Promotional and promoter codes are subject to their stated conditions and may be withdrawn, corrected or limited where permitted by law. Promoters may earn commission when you use their link or code; this does not increase the advertised price you pay.

6. Refunds and consumer rights

Our Refund Policy forms part of these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986 where they apply.

7. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the site, interfere with its security, automate abusive requests, probe private storage, evade download controls, attempt unauthorised access, or use the site or products unlawfully. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect customers, rights holders or the service.

8. Intellectual property

Except for the limited sample licence above, PTG and its licensors retain all rights in the website, audio, artwork, text, software, trademarks and products. No PTG name, logo or artwork may be used to imply endorsement without written permission.

9. Service availability and liability

We aim to keep the website and downloads available, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. Preview audio is for evaluation and may be changed or removed.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PTG is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, or loss caused by incompatible software, unauthorised sharing, or services outside our reasonable control. This clause does not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Changes, governing law and contact

We may update these terms when our products, services or legal obligations change. The date above identifies the current version. Changes apply prospectively unless the law requires otherwise.
